Job Title: Staff Assistant Location: Vienna, VA Type: Contract Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote Hours: 40.0

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct administrative and operational support to the Vice President of the Advanced Cyber Initiatives (ACI) branch.
  • Manage and prioritize the VP's executive calendar, ensuring all scheduled commitments are organized efficiently.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and follow-up on key initiatives.
  • Prepare executive briefing materials, including gathering, organizing, and synthesizing program, budget, and project updates.
  • Deliver high-quality operational support to enable effective decision-making and project execution.
  • Draft and review high-level correspondence and presentations using Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Track action items, ensuring timely follow-ups to maintain project momentum.

Requirements

  • Strong executive calendar management and scheduling capabilities
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level correspondence
  • Proficiency in preparing briefing materials and presentations (e.g., PowerPoint)
