Job description

Work in an innovative and dynamic team and will be responsible for designing and analyzing digital and analog circuits. This includes simulating, optimizing and floor planning HBM Base die and Core DRAM die circuits. In this position, you will collaborate with Micron's world-wide design and verification teams and support the efforts of multi-functional teams such as Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly and Marketing to proactively design HBM products that optimize all manufacturing functions and assure the best performance, power, cost, quality, reliability, time-to-market, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to contributing to the development of new HBM products by assisting with the overall design, layout. Interpreting product specifications and design circuits to meet required functionality. Designing and developing schematic blocks such as memory array, input buffer, output buffer, control logic, address decode, datapath, and internal test logic, analog circuits like LDO, pumps, reference generators, BGR. Participating in new circuit conception and design as needed. Performing circuit simulations using standard industry simulators such as FINESIM, HSPICE and VERILOG. Responsible for reliability verification. Assist in design validation, reticle experiments and required tape-out revisions. Overseeing and managing the layout process. Leading floor-planning process, including placement and routing optimization. Optimizing design rules for cost, performance and functionality. Importing layout parasitic information into circuit simulation environment. Maintaining Technical Expertise and Provide Training. Contributing to cross group communication to work towards standardization and group success. Aiding in design documentation and communicating best known practices to entire department. Participating in continuing education and competitor analysis. Proactively soliciting feedback from Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to ensure the design quality. Driving innovation into the future Memory generations within a dynamic work environment.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in experience in the job offered or in a related
occupation. Position requires:
1) CMOS circuit design, device physics, state machine logic/design verification techniques. High-speed circuit design and optimization
2) Development of memory behavioral models using System Verilog
3) HBM specification, design and verification;
4) Verilog Testbench development and UVM;
5) Layout extraction (SPF or SDF etc),
6) Verilog-Spice Co-Sim; and
7) Scripting language (Python or Tcl etc)
