This position plays an important role in managing case-related documentation and ensuring compliance with court deadlines and discovery requirements. The Staff Assistant will be responsible for preparing and organizing mandatory disclosures, managing discovery for all active cases, drafting and filing motions related to discovery, and assisting the attorneys with case management and document preparation. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities
• Create and implement data entry protocols to streamline processes and increase productivity
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required, some college experience preferred
• Proficient in basic computer software and can quickly learn to use new programs
• History of being deadline-driven and extremely organized
• Enjoys talking with customers and can communicate through verbal and written channels
• Prior experience in office management or our industry is a plus
