St. Michaels is located a short drive from Manhattan, so you can live outside the hustle and bustle, whilst still being able to enjoy all the city has to offer! Saint Michael's Medical Center is a teaching and research center and was established in 1867 by the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor. Now equipped with state-of-the-art technology, it is recognized for delivering the latest diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and for cutting-edge research. The staff at Saint Michael's Medical Center is committed to top-quality care and compassionate services.

Case Assignments & Schedule

General surgery, ortho, vascular, GYN, NORA, endo No OB or Peds

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
Board Eligible or Board Certified
Current medical licensure
ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
