Client: Refinery
Location: St Bernard Parish
Duration: Now- end of 2027
Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Paid Time Off
Schedule: 5/10's 6am-4:30pm M-Fri

Role Description:ย 

Position develops detail job plans for mechanical resources according to refinery's schedules and work lists. Position also develops field execution work planning packages for mechanical resources engaged in repairs and construction of fixed equipment, electrical, instrumentation, rotating equipment, analyzers, and other related equipment.ย 

Job Responsibilities:ย 

Develops detailed job plans that include the following steps, durations, material and equipment needs and cost estimates:ย 

Resource requirementsย 

Safety Plansย 

Efficient job tasking to guide field crewsย 

Repair proceduresย 

Associated drawings and specificationsย 

Sequence of schedulingย 

Material and equipment needsย 

Gantt chart for complete jobย 

Total hoursย 

Cost estimateย 

Coordinate planning resources in accordance with specifications, cost estimates, schedules, safety requirement, quality requirements, various procedures, standards, practices, etc.ย 

Work with scheduler and execution to provide general coordination and monitor the progress of activities per the job plans and worklistsย 

If other craft specific planners, then coordinate multi-craft job plans with themย 

Update plans with any approved change orders and develops new plansย 

Communicate daily with execution supervision during various phases of the turnaround to understand effectiveness of planย 

Analyze and recommend resolutions of work problems and execution in solving work problems ย 

Adjust plans with feedback from execution ย 

Walk down job packages and verify with prints and drawingsย 

Perform pre-start up safety reviewย 

Create punchlists from pre-start up safety reviewsย 

Confirm with execution the progress of key turnaround milestonesย 

Develop detailed milestone plans and submits to schedulerย 

Manage detailed line item work listย 

Include job plans for resources to support operations shutdown and start up plansย 

Perform critical and near critical path analysisย 

Work directly with scheduler to finalize and optimize integrated event or turnaround scheduleย 

Validate work steps and durations with team members and contractorsย 

Participate in Integrated Event and turnaround reviews (IR/TR's) and reports per Turnaround Milestone Scheduleย 

Prepare review documentationย 

Participate in planning and scheduling Peer Assistsย
