Fabletics is currently looking for a Senior Technical Designer.
How Do You Fit In?
As the Senior Technical Designer (Women's), you will manage all aspects of Technical Design related functions from initial Tech Pack creation to production, facilitating the development of fashion garments from design concept and first prototype to a final, production-ready sample. The Senior Technical Designer attends all fittings and work with Design and vendor partners to create brand right fits and product standards. You will be joining an extremely fast-paced team of creative and energetic individuals working towards significant expansion into various apparel categories. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial mind who is passionate about fashion and fit and understands the brand aesthetic and price point of our brands.
This position will report to the Director, Technical Design.
What You Will Do:
  • Manage all tech design functions relating to creating brand right fits
  • Previous experience with Women's Active, Lifestyle, and Lounge categories
  • Manage and create a smooth workflow of achieving deadlines resourcefully
  • Attend all fittings to develop Regular and Plus size apparel - must have technical expertise of body, fit, ease, flat specs, fabric/trim
  • Prep, measure and analyze garments to determine compliance of comments, specs, constructions, and sketches
  • Must have ability to lead fittings, taking detailed and accurate notes, and communicating directives with clear comments and detailed photos to vendors
  • Partner closely with Design to execute design vision and fit intent
  • Establish technical specifications including measurements, grading, construction details and on-body standards
  • Collaborate with Vendors, Production and PD to meet all calendar deadlines.
  • Build relationships with import and domestic vendors
  • Assemble tech packs with construction detail sketches, specs, how to measure guides and packaging details
  • Build and maintain technical design data libraries in Centric
  • Create fit blocks and product standards
  • Expert knowledge in grade rules and creating size charts
  • Problem solves, strategic and technical

What You Can Bring:
  • Minimum 7+ years previous experience in Technical Design
  • Proven track record of growing businesses, identifying trends and delivering results
  • Solid understanding of the marketplace, aspirational and competitive set
  • Exceptional knowledge of garment construction, balance and fit, and patterns
  • Excellent eye for fit, construction and detail
  • Ability to create technical drawings and renderings
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and works well in team atmosphere
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Ideal candidate brings foundational AI literacy, including experience using generative AI tools, and a proactive mindset to experiment with new technologies to drive productivity and innovation.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $90,000-$115,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate's related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
