Job Summary

The Senior Technical Analyst supports the EB Futures programs under the direct supervision of the Technical Directors, serving as the deputy technical lead responsible for day-to-day coordination of the EB Futures specialist teams, program advisory deliverable production, and continuity of technical oversight across all funded study and acquisition activities.

Essential Job Functions

In this role, the individual assists the Technical Directors in managing the full spectrum of program technical advisory functions from requirements development and BAA package preparation through proposal evaluation, study award oversight, and final report integration and serves as the primary technical point of contact with the government program office in the Technical Director's absence. The Senior Technical Analyst coordinates technical interchange schedules, tracks deliverable status across all funded study performers, and ensures that each discipline specialist's technical assessment products are integrated into cohesive government evaluation packages that reflect a systems-level perspective across all weapon disciplines.

During proposal evaluation and funded study oversight, the Senior Technical Analyst manages the evaluation workflow across the full EB Futures teams distributing proposals to discipline engineers, tracking scoring progress, identifying conflicts of interest, and assembling the final evaluation record packages submitted to the government source selection authority. The individual reviews contractor technical approaches from a systems integration perspective, assesses whether proposed study plans address the full scope of government-established requirements across all relevant disciplines, and flags cross-discipline technical risks that individual specialist reviewers may not capture in isolation. The Senior Technical Analyst supports the Technical Directors in preparing milestone briefings for the Program Manager and PEO, maintains the program risk register, tracks MLS reporting obligations, and coordinates directly with the Senior Program Analyst on program control and financial documentation. This position carries full technical authority in the Technical Director's absence, including the authority to provide technical direction to funded study performers within the bounds established by the Technical Directors and the government program office.

Requirements of the job:

1) A minimum of 15 years of experience in DoD acquisition program management, systems engineering, or technical advisory roles on advanced weapon or airborne system programs

2) Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field

3) A Master's degree in a like field is preferred, demonstrating continued and up-to-date educational standards

4) An active TS/SCI clearance that is transferable

5) SAP access experience (10+ years)

6) Candidate must be in place at Eglin AFB

7) US citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
