Senior-Level Geotechnical Engineer

EVREN Northwest (ENW), Inc. is a full-service environmental company that is looking to expand their Geotechnical Engineering Team in the Portland, Oregon office. ENW is seeking a qualified and highly motivated Senior- level geotechnical engineer to add to their team. A successful candidate will be experienced in various aspects of geotechnical engineering projects, including the planning and implementation of subsurface field investigations, planning laboratory testing for soil and rocks, familiarity and performance of geotechnical design analyses, and preparation of full geotechnical engineering report. Can independently evaluate and provide recommendations for foundations, slope stability, retaining walls systems, and other geotechnical aspects of a project. At ENW, you’ll gain valuable experience working on interesting projects in a variety of locations throughout the Pacific Northwest. As Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you’ll manage the geotechnical team to build their professional skills, you’ll manage projects and clients, and you’ll have the ability to grow a successful department. Salary is based on experience, therefore, starting pay is negotiable.


Responsibilities:

Planning and Performing Geotechnical Field Explorations.

Writing Daily Field Report.

Completing Engineering Analyses.

Preparing Geotechnical Engineering Reports and Deliverables.

Performing Special Inspections during Construction.

Managing Junior Level Staff.

Managing Projects and Clients.

Working with Company Management.

General Requirements:

15 to 20 years of Geotechnical Engineering experience.

BSCE/MSCE (Geotechnical)

Professional Licenses: PE, GE

Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

Proficient in writing and analytical skills

Position: Full-time
