Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Developer to support the development, maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of a large-scale enterprise application. The role involves Java/J2EE development, defect resolution, performance improvements, database work, and Agile/Scrum collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application defects.
  • Implement enhancements, refactoring, UI, reporting, and performance improvements.
  • Analyze requirements and create technical solutions/documentation.
  • Collaborate with business users, architects, and technical teams.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and sprint activities.
  • Use Azure DevOps for work tracking and development processes.
  • Support knowledge transfer and application documentation.
Required Skills
  • 10+ years: J2EE, Java, IBM DB2 UDB, Eclipse
  • 1-3 years: eXPRS application development
  • State government experience within the last 5 years
  • Strong enterprise application development experience
  • Agile/Scrum experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
