Location: Spokane, WA

Saxon Aerospace is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex engineering and manufacturing projects for an aerospace manufacturing client.


This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will manage projects from concept through production while collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.


Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering and manufacturing projects from concept through production and customer delivery.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Identify and mitigate technical and manufacturing risks.
  • Review engineering drawings, BOMs, ECNs, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Support manufacturing, integration, testing, and quality initiatives.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of engineering project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Aerospace or other regulated manufacturing experience.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Experience with engineering documentation, including drawings, BOMs, and ECNs.
  • Familiarity with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
