Senior Civil Project Manager

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager (PM) to join our team. We believe Project Managers with a strong technical background best serve our clients. That is why the ideal candidate is an experienced Seller-Doer who is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) with 15+ years of water resources experience. The PM will work in a variety of water-related fields including but not limited to: fisheries, fish passage, hydropower, dams, flood control, pump stations, water treatment, storm water, surface water management planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in the successful delivery of a wide range of water resources projects and tasks.
  • Manage projects by defining deliverables, building and guiding project teams, managing scope changes, establishing communication plans, and monitoring project progress and performance.
  • Oversee planning, design, and construction support services for fisheries, fish passage, hydropower, dams, flood control, pump stations, water treatment, stormwater, surface water management, and other heavy civil infrastructure projects.
  • Collect and analyze field data, as-built drawings, and engineering reports to assess existing conditions and identify critical design criteria.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Identify and pursue project opportunities and prepare competitive proposals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in civil and/or hydraulic engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required; NCEES registration preferred
  • Demonstrated design delivery experience with water resource infrastructure projects, including fisheries-related projects, hydropower, dams, water conveyance, stormwater networks, heavy grading, water treatment facilities, spillways, and pump stations
  • Familiarity with civil engineering design software
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, lead project tasks, work independently, and remain self-motivated
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% monthly

Compensation Package:

  • Pay Range: $124,000 - $202,450 (DOE)
  • Benefits: McMillen provides a full Benefits Program comprising medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, EAP, 401(k) and match, 9 paid holidays, generous PTO, opportunity for stock ownership, and wellness reimbursement. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
