Job description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Sr. Performance Test Engineer
Position Type: Contract to Hire
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Chicago, IL
As a Sr. Performance Test Engineer, you will:
Key Responsibilities
  • Handling all the performance testing for the team.
  • Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for microservices-based applications.
  • Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture with basic coding knowledge (no hands-on coding required).
  • Using microservices and coding concepts, without the need for active development work.
  • Utilize tools such as JMeter and Blaze Meter to create, maintain, and execute performance test scripts.
  • Using Playwright, cypress, selenium, and cucumber.
  • Doing performance testing both on and off prem – Must have good experience with AWS.
  • Using Splunk/Dynatrace/Grafana for observability.

Pay Range*:  $65 - $75 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
