Job description

Description
Responsible for development of new and existing test software, hardware, and procedures for all Basler products. This includes, but is not limited to, the development of schematics, test procedures, LabVIEW and Windows programs, test automation, estimating test hardware costs, and providing technical support for production technicians.
Reports to: Quality Engineering Manager
Essential Duties
  • Develop and maintain Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) for product testing of all Basler products.
  • Develop and maintain test equipment for production testing of all Basler products.
  • Develop and maintain test programs (LabVIEW and Windows) for production testing of all Basler products.
  • Provide production testing support for all Basler products.
  • Participate in design reviews and work with designer to evaluate testability of new designs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • B.S.E.E., B.S.C.S., or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, C++, Visual Basic, and LabVIEW.
  • Five years of experience in developing production testing.

Compensation
We anticipate filling the Test Engineer position with an expected compensation range of $73,000 - $84,000. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. Starting pay and job title are based on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
