Job description

Are you an experienced Estate Administration Paralegal with extensive probate experience working with North Carolina estates for at least 5 years? We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with your probate and estate administration expertise and experience, as well as opportunities for metric-driven bonuses. Our comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, as well as matching contributions to your tax-deferred retirement savings. We believe in the importance of estate planning and provide comprehensive planning as a benefit for our employees. We also believe in work-life balance, with flexible paid time off accrued from Day One and 12 paid holidays annually.

A Day in the Life

A typical day for a Senior Estate Administration Paralegal at our firm begins with a strategic review of your key information sources: calendar, task list in the firm's case management software, and your email inbox. You'll use these resources to prioritize work and implement action plans that move client matters forward efficiently. In this role, you will take ownership of estate administration files, collaborate with legal assistants for necessary information and document preparation, review case status and future plans with attorneys, and ensure that all parties involved in an estate's administration remain informed throughout the process.

Throughout the week, you will collaborate with attorneys and fellow team members to discuss client matters and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies. This role includes a weekly billable expectation of 30-32 hours, reflecting a high level of responsibility and ownership in managing estate administration matters. We work as a team of professionals, all committed to supporting our clients' goals and each other.
