Job description

Who You Are

The Senior Inventory Analyst is responsible for leveraging supply chain expertise to ensure the uninterrupted availability of materials through ongoing analysis of FANUC America Corporation (FAC) inventory, material requirements, and order fulfillment activities. This role manages robot inventory across FAC, including Oracle inventory management, support of inventory performance goals and objectives, and corporate reporting requirements.

Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams throughout FAC, the Supply Analyst gathers and analyzes data to establish optimal stocking levels, develop accurate demand forecasts, and drive inventory strategies. The position balances inventory investment with product availability by minimizing excess inventory while maximizing robot availability, ensuring exceptional customer service and consistently exceeding customer expectations.

How It's Done

  • Work with execution groups on Robot specification changes and communicate them to FANUC
  • Create/update Robot purchase orders in the ERP system and communicate with FANUC
  • Support FANUC with inquiries on drop shipped Robots (Work with EG's to obtain commercial invoice/ packing slip)
  • Support with production swap communication to FANUC
  • Coordinate air freight quoting and send airfreight requests to FANUC after approvals are completed
  • Coordinate and complete RDI submissions to FEC and FHQ
  • Support robot physical inventory count and rectification of issues
  • Develop, recommend, and implement initiatives with KPI's that support commitment to customer satisfaction and improve organizational performance.
  • Contribute and assist in developing systems for optimizing inventory levels to lower the number of expedites.
  • Assist in providing reporting and analysis to management as needed.
  • Update the OSROL and publish it to all EG's.
  • Send the updated OSROL to FANUC

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Materials Management, Inventory Control, Purchasing or related fields.
  • Expert-level Excel capabilities including macro automation and complex data manipulation.
  • Advanced SQL query development and reporting expertise.
  • Strong command of Oracle platforms including Oracle ERP workflows and data structures.
  • Proven project management capabilities with experience coordinating multi-stakeholder initiatives and driving to completion.
  • Solid understanding of statistics, forecasting models, and analytical best practices.

What Would Be Even Better

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
  • APICS or related certification is beneficial.
