About the Role:
Immigrants First PLLC is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Immigration Paralegal to join our dedicated legal team in Manassas, VA. This is your opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by supporting complex immigration cases in a fast-paced, mission-driven law firm. Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation (USCIS, DOL, NVC, consular)
  • Manage and maintain a high-volume caseload across family-based, employment-based, business Immigration, and removal defense matters
  • Draft legal correspondence, cover letters, and client communications under attorney supervision
  • Conduct client interviews and gather supporting evidence for immigration cases
  • Monitor case statuses, deadlines, and government notices using case management software
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior paralegals and support staff
  • Stay current on changes in immigration law, USCIS policy updates, and processing times
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of hands-on immigration paralegal experience required
  • Proficiency with immigration forms and filings including I-589, I-130, I-485, I-140, I-765, and DACA renewals
  • Strong knowledge of family-based and/or employment-based immigration processes
  • Experience with immigration case management software (e.g., INSZoom, Docketwise, or similar)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
  • Paralegal certificate or relevant college degree preferred
  • Compassionate, client-focused demeanor with strong interpersonal communication skills
