Senior Demand Planner (Manufacturing Experience Essential)


Waukegan, IL
$80,000 - $90,000 + Benefits
Monday - Friday | Days | Onsite
Direct Hire | Manufacturing


We're recruiting for an experienced Senior Demand Planner to join a well-established manufacturing business supporting high-volume production operations across North America.


This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of demand forecasting, production planning and supply chain coordination, ensuring accurate forecasting and efficient manufacturing operations.


What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts and production plans
  • Monitor production schedules, planning dates and supply chain risks
  • Analyse forecasting trends, shortages and inventory requirements
  • Produce demand planning reports, KPIs and forecast analysis
  • Support high-priority production campaigns and planning activities
  • Coordinate planning schedules with Production, Purchasing and Supply Chain teams
  • Maintain ERP/MRP planning data and reporting accuracy
  • Update planning documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities across planning processes


What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years' demand planning or production planning experience within manufacturing
  • Strong ERP/MRP systems experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
  • Experience with forecasting, inventory planning and production scheduling
  • Manufacturing experience within consumer goods, packaging, industrial or similar environments
  • Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or related field preferred
