Hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA, we are a mid-sized public accounting firm with a close-knit collaborative culture and the global reach to work with complex and sophisticated clients. Known for our client-focused approach and commitment to delivering practical results, the firm has a 50-year history of serving clients across a diverse range of industries and is seeking an experienced Audit Senior Associate or Audit Supervisor to join our growing Atlanta team. This role is ideal for an emerging audit professional who values technical autonomy client relationships and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage client audit engagements from start to finish including planning budgeting scheduling and completing all aspects of the audit such as cash accounts receivable accounts payable and fixed assets with accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare financial statements related reports and work papers while researching analyzing and reporting on accounting auditing and emerging industry developments
  • Provide supervision training and mentorship to engagement staff and interns while collaborating with managers and principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery
  • Cultivate and maintain effective client relationships participate in networking activities and travel up to 15% as needed to support client engagements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; Master's of Accounting preferred with CPA license or CPA eligibility required
  • 2+ years of experience in public accounting with demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities while maintaining high standards of work quality
  • Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Excellent analytical research and audit project management skills with a growth mindset passion for developing others and strong commitment to client service excellence
