Job description

RE Global is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and solutions-driven Real Estate Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day business and real estate operations, manage staff performance, and support the successful execution of a federal real estate program.

This is a hands-on management position requiring someone who can successfully manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, solve problems independently, and ensure deadlines and performance expectations are consistently met.

The ideal candidate is highly responsive, proactive, organized, and accountable. This individual must be comfortable making decisions, managing employees, communicating with clients and government stakeholders, and taking ownership of issues through resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Contract Management:
  • Oversee daily operations associated with assigned real estate and federal contract activities.
  • Ensure contractual requirements, deadlines, deliverables, policies, and performance standards are met.
  • Monitor production queues, workloads, aging items, deadlines, and employee performance.
  • Review operational reports and identify items requiring immediate attention or escalation.
  • Coordinate multiple priorities and ensure time-sensitive matters are addressed promptly.
  • Identify operational problems and implement practical solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure established procedures are followed.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of SOPs, workflows, and process improvements.

Team Management:
  • Supervise and provide day-to-day direction to assigned employees.
  • Delegate assignments and balance workloads based on priorities and deadlines.
  • Establish clear expectations and hold employees accountable for productivity, quality, responsiveness, and attendance.
  • Monitor individual and team performance against established goals and KPIs.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, training, and corrective guidance when necessary.
  • Conduct or assist with employee performance evaluations.
  • Ensure staff understand and comply with company and client requirements.

Real Estate Operations:
  • Manage and support real estate-related workflows and transactions.
  • Review real estate documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Coordinate matters involving property management, asset management, mortgage servicing, REO, title, closing, foreclosure, inspections, vendors, or related activities as applicable.
  • Identify and resolve issues that could delay property or contract-related transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external real estate stakeholders.

Client & Stakeholder Communication:
  • Maintain professional and responsive communication with clients, government representatives, employees, vendors, and management.
  • Participate in client and operational meetings.
  • Prepare status updates, reports, and responses to management and client inquiries.
  • Follow up consistently on outstanding matters until they are resolved.
  • Escalate significant risks or compliance concerns appropriately while bringing recommended solutions whenever possible.

Reporting & Performance Management:
  • Monitor production, quality, aging, turnaround times, and other performance indicators.
  • Prepare and review management reports and operational summaries.
  • Identify performance trends, bottlenecks, and areas requiring corrective action.
  • Ensure assigned deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Help maintain strong contract performance and client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3–5+ years of business management, operations management, or comparable leadership experience.
  • Real estate experience required.
  • Prior experience supervising and managing employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly responsive with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with limited supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation.
  • Experience monitoring employee productivity, performance metrics, or KPIs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Ability to quickly learn client-specific technology and systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with federal government contracts or government programs.
  • HUD-related experience.
  • Experience in REO, property management, mortgage servicing, asset management, foreclosure, title, closing, or related real estate operations.
  • Experience working in a deadline-driven environment with contractual service-level requirements.
  • Experience developing or implementing SOPs and process improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Real Estate, Management, or a related field.

What We're Seeking:
The successful candidate will be someone who:
  • Multitasks effectively without allowing important items to fall through the cracks.
  • Responds promptly and understands the importance of timely communication.
  • Solves problems instead of simply identifying or forwarding them.
  • Takes ownership and follows assignments through completion.
  • Communicates professionally with employees, executives, clients, and government stakeholders.
  • Leads by example and holds employees accountable.
  • Can distinguish between what is urgent, what can be delegated, and what requires escalation.
  • Remains organized and effective in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Is comfortable being held accountable for the overall performance of the operation.

Compensation:
Salary: $60,000 to 70,000 annually.
Performance-based incentives may be available based on individual, team, and operational performance.
Equal Opportunity Employer.
