Job description

Description:

Build Something Rare with Us

At risk3sixty, we do not hire people to "do the work." We hire Strange Renegades: skilled practitioners who are also builders, obsessed with craft, and hungry to be part of something inimitable. As a Senior Associate, you are stepping into the craftsman arc, the point where you stop being someone who executes tasks and start becoming someone who owns outcomes and lifts the people around you.

As a Senior Associate, you will assume a pivotal role within the firm, demonstrating advanced skills, experience, and leadership. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of consulting methodologies, industry knowledge, and the ability to independently lead and manage aspects of client engagements. From a professional development standpoint, you will be focused on maturing your delivery capabilities. Above all, you will apply the risk3sixty way to deliver exceptional client experiences and client outcomes.

The Kind of Person who Thrives Here

You take mastery seriously but know craft alone is not enough. You see how your work connects to the client's outcome and the firm's reputation. You develop the people around you rather than hoarding what you know. And you care about protecting and extending what makes risk3sixty rare.

What You will Own

You will independently own a defined deliverable (such as a framework report) or a small, single deliverable project from planning through final delivery. You are accountable for the quality, consistency, and on time completion of that deliverable, and on single deliverable projects you may serve as the reliable engagement lead.

Day to day, that looks like:

  • Owning a deliverable or small project from planning through final delivery
  • Executing independently while coordinating inputs from Associates as needed
  • Guarding the quality, consistency, and timeliness of the deliverable end to end
  • Proactively managing risks, dependencies, and rework before they become fires
  • Regular communication with clients on status (including weekly status reports), clarifications, and straightforward issues

How We Will Know You are Winning

  • Your deliverables are high quality and delivered on time
  • You work effectively and independently, picking up the ball without being asked
  • Clients and project leads give you positive, specific feedback
Requirements:

Previous Experience working on SOC 2 and HITRUST engagements

  • Exposure to a GRC platform (Hyperproof, fullCircle, or similar)
  • Basic knowledge of AI and agentic workflows
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills for client facing work

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times
