Job description

Job Title:  SQL Server DBA

Location: Princeton - NJ - 08540

Mode : Contract (6+ Months) – Onsite

Experienced SQL DBA with strong expertise in query optimization and performance engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, optimize and tune complex SQL queries form improved performance
  • Monitor database performance, identify bottleneck, slow queries and resource issues
  • Monitor SQL server performance (CPU, memory, I/O etc.)
  • Design and implement effective indexing, partitioning and data comparison strategies.
  • Implementing and monitoring and altering tools.
  • Capacity planning and benchmarking


Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong expertise in MS SQL server
  • Advance T-SQL with query tuning and optimization expertise
  • Hands on experience with high availability solutions
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong collaboration with development and infrastructure teams


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure SQL etc.)
  • Familiarity with automation and scripting
  • Knowledge of ETL, SSIS and data warehousing concepts
