Job description

Night Shift Custodian Opportunity

The Seneca R7 School District is seeking candidates for night shift custodians.

Work time: 3:30 pm - midnight (except during summer break when all custodians work day shifts)

Job description: candidate will be expected to clean classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeteria and common areas. Duties include, but are not limited to, emptying trash cans, dusting, and mopping hallways, common areas and cafeterias, sweeping, scrubbing with a scrubber, buffing with a propane buffer, and sweeping, mopping, cleaning and disinfecting the restrooms.

Training on all duties, including use of chemicals, will be provided.

Training at all facilities will be required.

Equipment to be used: motorized scrubber, slow speed buffer, high speed buffer (propane) and vacuum cleaner.

Candidates must pass a physical.
