We leverage a nationwide footprint (and international partner network) combined with proprietary software to enable efficient end-to-end IT asset disposition with a focus on data-bearing devices from the client to the cloud. The company is headquartered in Charlotte, NC with additional operations near Sacramento, Dallas, and Boston. Sprout provides software and services to clients in the form of our IT Asset Disposition, Certified Destruction, and Responsible Recycling solutions.

ITAD Operators are responsible for the identification, sorting, reconciliation, and de-manufacturing of IT assets in alignment with Sprout's operational and environmental standards. With increasing responsibilities and technical proficiency, ITAD Operators advance through Levels 1 to 4 based on experience and demonstrated skills.
Responsibilities
  • Product Identification: Recognize and categorize IT assets and consumer electronics.
  • Material Handling: Safely transport materials across the site.
  • Organizing Stock: Keep workstations and stock areas organized.
  • De-Manufacturing: Disassemble IT assets into constituent parts for recycling or disposal.
  • Adherence to Operational Procedures.
  • Safety and Security Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and data security procedures (R2v3, ISO 27001).
  • Mastery of the following operational processing activities: Audit, De-Manufacturing, & Clean / Pack.
  • Record Keeping: Document all actions and materials accurately using scan guns and manual entries in ERP system, creating labels as needed.
  • Perform more advanced stock organization and material recovery tasks.

Qualifications
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding the English language.
  • Ability to accurately type 40 words per minute.
  • Proficient in basic arithmetic.
  • Experience with hand tools (power drill, pliers, etc.)
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, when needed.
  • Adaptability to changing tasks and expectations.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in ITAD or reverse logistics.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, inventory management and advanced handling techniques.
  • Demonstrated skill in process improvement and quality control.
