Job description

Bahuriak Law Group is looking for a motivated undergraduate student to join our criminal defense practice as a Legal Intern.

This is an unpaid, in-office position requiring a commitment of at least 20-25 hours per week. We are looking for someone who is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and has strong written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in criminal law and be interested in gaining hands-on experience in a law firm.


Responsibilities include:

  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Assisting with client intake and gathering initial information
  • Organizing and maintaining client files
  • Assisting paralegal and attorneys with various legal and administrative tasks
  • Providing support with the day-to-day operations of the office
  • Handling confidential client information with professionalism and discretion

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Professional, dependable, and able to work well in an office environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
