Job description

Sports Video Service Technician
We're lighting up the game at Nevco! We want every court, field, track and rink to display the latest scoring technology. The love of the game is at the forefront of everything we do. Nevco Sports, LLC, the world's leading supplier of integrated display and scoring systems, is looking for a talented Sports Video Service Technician. Nevco is the largest privately held manufacturer of LED scoreboards, message centers and video displays in the world. Nevco has held a tradition of quality and innovation for over 85 years.

Scope of Responsibility:
• Commission and train for all Nevco Equipment
• Terminate Fiber optics and other low voltage cabling
• Serve as an escalation point for unresolved issues on-site and complex troubleshooting scenarios
• Self-learning product knowledge to become an in-house technical expert on software and electronic systems
• Assist in developing technical documentation and training resources
• Program and configure advanced systems and video displays
• Provide feedback of trending issues to engineering and product installation teams
• Handle all travel coordination
Requirements:
• Successful candidates should have 3+ years of technical support experience, preferably in electronics or related fields
• Strong discipline and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot across systems and applications
• Ability to diagnosis and repair electronic systems and LED components both on-site and remotely.
• Patience and tactfulness to collaborate with customers that are experiencing problems and may be upset or in stressful situations with emphasis on simplifying and enhancing customer experience
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communications skill required
• Interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record is a must
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to operate lift equipment at elevation (certification is a plus)
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to work safely in varying weather conditions to troubleshoot and repair onsite video/scoreboard
