Job description

Job Title: Passenger Coach Filming Project Intern Film Project Lead 

Duration: 6 Months+
Location: Lexington NC USA 27292 [Candidate must be able to work onsite.]

Schedule: 40 hr work week.  5:00 am - 1:30 pm or flex 10 hr. shift between 5 am-11 pm.

Job Description:

Passenger Coach Filming Project Intern
Film Project Lead
Associates and Bachelor candidates welcome
 

Project Description:
• Utilize filming process to document the assembly process for passenger train coaches to facilitate future analysis and training
• Coordinate with Production associates to capture established content of work on film orders as they are being produced in Lexington, NC.
• Use Adobe Premier Pro or similar software to edit film into educational videos highlighting key points of technique
Job Duties:
• Project leadership including staffing recommendations, creating and maintaining project schedule, coordinate filming and editing assignments and ensure project team is working safely
• Project startup including coordination and input on leasing or buying cameras, purchasing editing software, establishing file storage schema, and coordination with train factory management.
• Communicate on a regular basis the status of the project to company Co-Ordinator
• Formulate solutions to problems as the occur – escalate major issues to company Co-Ordinator
• Manage film team interns – give direction, assignments and feedback as needed
Duration, work hours, shift:
• Workday is typically 8 hours, although some overtime may be required
• Workday is typically first shift, 5 am – 1:30 pm, although some 2nd shift work may be required based on work order scheduling
• Project duration will be approximately 3 months, however it may be extended if mutually agreed upon
Physical Demands:
• Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently required to climb stairs, steps, and ladders
• Frequently required to work on elevated platforms.
• Occasionally lift and move at most 40 pounds.
• Wear designated personal protection equipment
