Benefits estimated based on industry standards

Antigravity Academy's Short Film Studio powered by Dolby Creator Lab is built to help filmmakers push creative boundaries and bring bold ideas to life combining Dolbyโ€™s cuttingโ€‘edge imaging and sound technologies with Antigravity Academyโ€™s handsโ€‘on production leadership. Last year, four original short films were developed and completed with full support from script to post. Two films were selected for the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, one was selected for the 2026 SXSW Film Festival. Selected filmmakers receive a $35,000 production budget, along with structured creative development, production oversight, and continuous feedback from Antigravity Academy at every stage of the process. From early script notes to final delivery, each project moves through a clear, collaborative pipeline designed to elevate both the story and the craft. All films are completed in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, giving filmmakers the tools to present their work at the highest creative and technical level. By the end of the program, each team walks away with a finished short film ready for festival submission. Vol. 2 of the program is currently accepting applications until February 9th.
