Learning and Development Intern to support the development of high-quality online learning content for our Learning Management System (Learning Connection).
This intern will work hands-on in our professional recording studio-using cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and an LED-panel screen-to help produce polished training videos for the Learning Connection. This role is ideal for a student studying Visual and Media Arts, Media Studies, Media Arts Production, or Film/Video Production and offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world studio, editing, and instructional media experience.
Key Responsibilities

  • Record and edit new video content for use in our Learning Management System.
  • Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and Camtasia to produce polished, professional training modules.
  • Assist in script development, content outlines, and storyboarding for learning videos.
  • Support trainers and on-camera talent by providing direction on cues, positioning, delivery, timing, and best practices for on-screen presence.
  • Ensure all media aligns with the Learning Connection's brand identity and maintains consistent visual standards.
  • Help organize media files, manage project assets, and maintain an efficient production workflow.
  • Offer creative input during ideation sessions and help bring video concepts from initial idea to final product.
  • Assist with basic graphic design needs; experience with Canva or eagerness to learn is welcome.

Required Qualifications
  • Boston-based candidates only.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university, primarily studying:
  • Visual and Media Arts

  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and Camtasia.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to collaborate with subject-matter experts and non-technical staff.
  • Comfortable giving direction to on-camera talent.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Interest in instructional design or digital learning is a plus.

What You'll Gain
  • Hands-on experience in a professional recording studio environment.
  • Portfolio-ready video and multimedia projects.
  • Real-world experience contributing to a Learning & Development team.
  • Skills in editing, script writing, production planning, and studio operations.
  • Exposure to LMS-based content creation and branding.
