Job description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sports Sponsorship Executive to join our The Highlight Guy -THG Sports Network team. In this role, you will sell sponsorship partnerships to local businesses throughout New Hampshire and northern MA. Your energetic approach and persuasive communication skills will drive business development initiatives, opening new avenues for growth and collaboration. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence community initiatives while honing your sales expertise. This is a 100% performance-based, independent sales role. Compensation is earned through commissions on sponsorships sold, with no cap on earning potential. Sponsor packages start at $995 and max at $4500.

About THG Sports Network

The Highlight Guy - THG Sports Network produces approximately 125 live high school and youth sports broadcasts each year, providing local businesses with year-round sponsorship opportunities through livestreams, replay broadcasts, social media, website exposure, and sponsor recognition during games. We have over 1000 YouTube subscribers and a strong social media presence.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize existing prospect database and contact new businesses through in-person visits, phone calls, email, and networking to generate qualified sponsorship opportunities.
  • Conduct sponsorship presentations, recommend the best package for each business, and close new sponsorship agreements.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline by documenting prospect activity, scheduling follow-ups, and nurturing relationships with prospective sponsors.
  • Meet or exceed agreed-upon sales goals while representing THG Sports Network with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of sales, customer service, business development, fundraising, marketing, or relationship-building experience preferred.
  • Outside sales or B2B sales experience is a plus.
  • Experience working independently and managing your own schedule is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with local businesses, athletics, or community organizations is a bonus—but not required.
