The academy offers training programs for all levels, from beginners to competitive gymnasts, with a strong focus on technique, artistry, and individual progress. Role Description

The Sports Management Intern is a part-time, hybrid role based in Raleigh, NC. The intern will support daily gym operations, including assisting with practice scheduling, event coordination, and competition logistics. They will help maintain athlete records, communicate updates to families, and support coaches with organizing training sessions and equipment. The role includes assisting with outreach and enrollment activities, such as tours, information sessions, and basic sales support for programs. The intern will also contribute to administrative tasks, data entry, and communications while collaborating closely with coaching staff and management to ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming training environment.


Compensation & Future Opportunities

In addition to valuable hands-on experience in sports management, interns are eligible for performance-based bonuses.


* Bonus compensation is provided for each new client who successfully enrolls in one of Nord Rhythmic Academy’s programs through the intern’s outreach and recruitment efforts.

* Additional monthly performance bonuses are available when specific enrollment targets are achieved.

* Top-performing interns may receive increased responsibilities and leadership opportunities throughout the internship.


Upon successful completion of the internship program (June through August), Nord Rhythmic Academy may consider offering a paid part-time Assistant position based on performance, professionalism, and the needs of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in sports management and youth athletics, with foundational skills in Sports Coaching and Coaching.
  • Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with athletes, families, and staff.
  • Basic understanding of sports and enthusiasm for learning about rhythmic gymnastics.
  • Comfort supporting Sales-related activities, including program promotion, responding to inquiries, and assisting with enrollment.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a collaborative, respectful approach when working with children and adults.
  • Ability to work on-site in Raleigh, NC, including evenings or weekends as needed for events and competitions.
