Fanatics Collectibles is integrating with Fanatics' global digital sports platform - which includes 900 sports relationships and >81 million reachable fans - to reimagine the collectibles business for the 21st century.

Role Summary

Fanatics Collectibles is looking for Strategic Operations Analyst to support the highest priority, highest complexity, and highest visibility initiatives within our Athlete Partnerships roadmap. This role reports to the Biz Ops lead supporting the Head of Athlete Partnerships and offers exposure to the Fanatics Collectibles leadership team. The role will be actively involved in multiple impactful initiatives within Athlete Partnerships and across the organization. Specifically, they will play a key role in developing our autograph procurement strategy (10M+ autos per year), establishing frameworks for broader strategic initiatives, and driving cross-functional projects to improve the athlete and collector experience. The ideal candidate is a highly flexible self-starter with top-notch analytical skills, a demonstrated propensity for solving difficult problems, and a clear team-first mindset. Candidates with a passion for sports, culture, & entertainment will likely find themselves a strong cultural fit.

Within the first 6 months, you will..
  • Help drive multiple high-impact, long-term and ad-hoc business initiatives and, together with the Athlete Partnerships team, work cross-functionally to ensure project success
  • Set goals, report findings, deliver recommendations, and help present progress updates to Athlete Partnerships leadership and Fanatics Collectibles executives
  • Help create a comprehensive autograph procurement strategy across 5000+ athletes from every major sporting league globally
  • Help the team to prioritize, roadmap, and drive growth and operational projects
  • Lead initiatives to develop and standardize processes within Athlete Partnerships and other functions to drive efficiency
  • Become a subject-matter-expert in all things Trading Cards and Athlete Relations
The Ideal Candidate
  • 2-4 years of experience, with a preference for Management Consulting, Strategy, Finance / Accounting, or Biz Ops roles
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or similar preferred
  • Strong quantitative modelling & analytical skills, excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong financial acumen
  • Team-first mindset, with a passion for solving highly complex problems together
  • Ability to handle a multi-tasking environment, meet deadlines, and work across a wide range of high priority initiatives
  • Confidence, intellectual curiosity, ability cut through ambiguity, and a desire to learn
