About the Role

Success Academy Charter Schools is seeking an Associate, Sports Administration and Logistics to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Specialist, Sports Administration & Logistics, and play a crucial role in managing operations and logistics for our school's sports programs and facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in operations, facilities and inventory management, and providing support for athletic programs.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Manage inventory and purchasing of school sports equipment and supplies

  • Ensure coaches and scholars are following systems around storing, cleaning, maintaining, and organizing equipment and apparel

  • Coordinate with school staff to ensure that facilities are available and ready for use by athletic programs

  • Manage logistics for athletic events and activities

  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for all school sports facilities and equipment

  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that all school sports programs meet the needs of scholars and staff

  • Monitor and analyze data related to sports facilities and equipment usage, inventory, and expenses

  • Provide training and support to staff and scholars on the proper use and maintenance of sports facilities and equipment

  • Manage external vendors and contractors as needed

  • Physical demands: 

    • May involve frequent bending, moving, lifting, and carrying material up to 50 pounds

    • Standing up to eight hours each day 

    • Working in all weather conditions and exposure to high noise levels

A successful applicant will have the following experiences and education:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in managing sports facilities and equipment

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, G-suite, inventory management systems, and sports management software 

  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to sports facilities and equipment

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

  • Passion for sports, physical fitness, and community building
