Assistant Golf Professional

Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
About New England Sports Hub
New England Sports Hub is one of New England's premier indoor and outdoor golf practice and entertainment facilities, featuring industry-leading Trackman technology, instructional programs, leagues, tournaments, junior golf, club repair services, and corporate events.
Our mission is simple: create a welcoming environment where golfers of every age and ability can learn, practice, compete, and have fun.
We're looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and customer-focused Assistant Golf Professional to join our growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in the golf industry while helping shape one of the region's most innovative golf facilities.
This position offers a unique combination of league operations, tournament operation, club repair, marketing, player development, and daily golf operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Leagues, Tournaments & Events
  • Organize and run golf leagues from start to finish.
  • Organize tournaments, Trackman competitions, clinics, camps, and special events.
  • Manage Golf Genius tournament software and scoring.
  • Assist/Run corporate outings and community events.
Golf Operations
  • Assist in the daily operation of the golf facility.
  • Ensure the golf areas are clean, organized, and professionally maintained.
  • Open and close the facility as needed.
  • Assist members and guests with reservations and daily activities.
Instruction & Player Development
  • Provide private and group golf instruction (based on experience).
  • Assist with junior golf camps, clinics, and player development programs.
  • Help golfers improve through Trackman technology and structured coaching.
  • Promote player engagement and retention through outstanding customer service.
Club Services
  • Perform club regripping and basic club repair.
  • Install shafts and grips (experience preferred).
  • Perform loft and lie adjustments (if qualified).
  • Assist with club fittings (preferred).
  • Manage Bag Storage
Marketing & Business Development
  • Create engaging social media content.
  • Assist with email marketing and promotional campaigns.
  • Help develop new leagues, instructional programs, and golf events.
  • Build relationships with members, guests, and local businesses to grow participation.
Qualifications
Required
  • Passion for golf and growing the game.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Evening and weekend availability.
Preferred
  • PGA Professional, LPGA Professional, or PGA Associate.
  • League and tournament management experience.
