Job description

Be part of the All Community Events team working on events across the nation for over 100,000 participants annually! Join us in managing 5K/10K runs/walks, half marathons, client charity events, Jack O'Lantern World, and holiday light shows. If you eat, sleep, and breathe logistics, problem-solving, and coordination, combined with the fast-paced, get-stuff-done nature of event day, then this is the place for you.
The All Community Events internship is designed to introduce employees to all aspects of event management. Throughout their time here, interns will be assigned their own event(s) to plan, permit, and manage from start to finish! They'll also assist with:
  • Logistical planning
  • Operational execution
  • Community outreach
  • Client Charity Support
  • Marketing
  • Customer Service
  • Contractor Booking
  • And much more

Interns will also get to travel to our events around the country frequently and be part of our event-day operations. Interns will be given real responsibility as an integral part of our event day team.
Available Internships:
  • Fall 2026
    • Start July 14, 2026, through December 2026

  • This internship is located at our office in Lake Zurich, IL. No remote option.
  • This internship can work for college credit.
  • THIS IS A PAID INTERNSHIP.
  • There is a possibility for high-performing interns to get hired full-time.

Qualifications:
  • This position requires the ability to use a computer for an extended period of time.
  • This position requires the ability to stand on your feet for an extended period of time.
  • This position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly over an extended period of time.
  • This position requires frequent weekend availability as our events do happen on the weekends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
