Function:
The Event & Sponsorship Marketing Manager owns the development and execution of S&T Bank's event, sponsorship, and community engagement strategies. This role drives brand visibility, client engagement, and business development opportunities through the effective management of sponsorship investments, community partnerships, and high-impact events, while serving as a key marketing liaison to internal stakeholders and external partners.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Strategically identify key market opportunities for sponsorships, partnerships, and advertising in the markets.
  • Ownership of current marketing partnerships, fulfilling marketing aspects of partnership, managing communications and partner relations.
  • Supports opportunities for sponsorships in the market and corporate-wide.
    Fulfills marketing aspects of community sponsorships, including any advertising associated with the sponsorship.
    Communicates with sponsor contacts, and coordinates S&T employee attendance at sponsored events.
  • Owns tracking and reporting of sponsorships for all markets and cost centers.
    Supports market teams requesting sponsorships, handling questions and issues that arise,
  • Manages event planning and execution in support of market and corporate-wide endeavors.
    Collaborates with internal team members and event vendors to conceptualize and execute high-quality events that meet marketing objectives, enhance the brand reputation, and attract key clients, contacts, and candidates.
    Start-to-finish event management, including venue research and selection, event coordination and individual event registrations; business development efforts and follow up.
    Maintains vendor relationships and communication, ensuring successful execution of planned events and projects.
  • Acts as marketing liaison in defined market. Provides day-to-day service and support to market teams to deliver on marketing support, coordination and execution of desired objectives related to market events, sponsorships, and communications.
  • Works closely with Marketing management, Marketing team, and LOB leaders to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our marketing solutions according to their needs in the market.
  • Establishes and maintains partner relationships with external community marketing contacts and resources.
  • Develops, updates and customizes marketing and sales materials for presentations and meetings.
  • Supports regional market teams in communication of community events, sponsorships, and volunteer participation, through social media, public relations, and other marketing communication efforts.
  • Maintains a working relationship with bank employees in other departments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:
Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Five to ten years' general business experience with two to five years specialized experience in financial services, retail, marketing preferred.
Physical Demands:
Operates a keypad device 75% of the day. Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry on a frequent basis, up to 75% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18"- 20" for computer work and frequent travel in the market, up to 75% of the business day.
