Responsibilities
How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Supports facilities operations by managing building systems, maintenance, grounds, energy use, and equipment inventories to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Oversees staffing activities including scheduling, training, and daily work assignments to maintain appropriate coverage and team performance.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory and safety standards (e.g., TJC), including conducting audits, maintaining documentation, and supporting inspections.
  • Manages vendor and contractor relationships, including project coordination, bid processes, and monitoring performance for repairs, maintenance, and capital projects.
  • Supports budget management by reviewing purchase requests, coordinating with vendors and Purchasing, and ensuring alignment with financial and operational goals.
  • Drives process improvement and operational efficiency while maintaining strong communication and customer service with internal stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.

Qualifications
What minimum requirements you'll need
Education:
  • Requirement of High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
  • Five years' experience in the maintenance and operation of a physical plant and/or building maintenance for a large facility.
