Field Communications Technician

We're seeking a hands-on Field Communications Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain wireless communication and power systems across West Texas and Southeast New Mexico. This role is primarily regional with travel required as projects demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain RF radio systems (Cambium, MDS, Freewave, 4RF, Aviat, Ubiquiti)

  • Support video systems (Axis, Hanwha, Bosch, Ubiquiti)

  • Install and troubleshoot AC/DC power systems (12/24/48VDC, ±48VDC)

  • Perform antenna installation, alignment, grounding, and surge protection

  • Terminate Ethernet, coax, and fiber

  • Support LTE/5G, satellite, and industrial network systems

  • Participate in regional on-call rotation

Systems & Equipment You'll Work With
  • RF radio systems (licensed and unlicensed spectrum)

  • Wireless networking equipment and network appliances

  • Cameras, sensors, and video systems

  • Tower structures, mounts, enclosures

  • AC/DC power systems and PoE systems

  • LTE/5G and satellite technologies

What We're Looking For
