Job description

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Pay: $25.25

5G Field Expert III

The5G Field Expert IIIis responsible for the installation of Verizon 5G wireless broadband networking equipment in customers' homes andwill ensure the highest quality customer experience by providing technical expertise to other field technicians.

Essential Functions:

  • Achieve complete customer satisfaction 100% of the time by performing work in a professional, timely and approved manner.
  • Accurate daily, weekly, and monthly documentation/reporting of service tickets and installations
  • Complete installations and repairs using power and hand tools
  • Terminate network cable and run cables through walls and ceilings
  • Follow and enforce the Company's policies and procedures, including the Field Operation guidelines and safety, at all times
  • Use mobile APPs to facilitate installations and service calls
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Five (5) + years' experience in installation of Cable TV, Satellite TV, Alarm or Telecom
  • Previous management skills a plus
  • Business to Business (B2B) experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 65 lbs.
  • Ability to work off the ground on ladders
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Good verbal communications and writing skills
  • Maintains valid driver's license and driving record that always meets company standards
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months tenure in current role
  • Performance rating must be Strong or above
  • Not enrolled in PIP, Written Warning, Final Written Warning or higher disciplinary action

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in indoor and outdoor settings, may be underground or at elevated heights with regular exposure to extreme cold, heat, direct sunlight, dirt, hazardous electrical equipment, and wiring
  • May require working on-call during after-hours and weekends
  • This position may work long hours
  • Some travel may be required
