In the role of Specification Specialist II, we'll count on you to: 
  • Prepare design development and contract documents specifications for technical projects while ensuring compatibility with drawings and/or technical conditions
  • Write technical specifications in compliance with project requirements, acceptable standards and existing laws, rules and regulations and codes
  • Prepare bid sheet and measurement and payment section of specifications
  • Assist with legal and 'front end' specification, including but not limited to general conditions, supplementary general conditions, and any other necessary and related documents
  • Have significant breadth of knowledge with ability to recommend materials, procedures and technical specifications requirements and contents, and to oversee production of completed documents and specifications
  • Maintain master specification sections for use on corporate level, and modify these standard sections as construction industry changes
  • Perform other duties as needed
