Our operating model combines deep technical execution with practical change management, enabling enterprises to deploy secure, compliant, and high-impact solutions that drive measurable operational value. From executive roadmapping to production-ready systems and workforce upskilling, Ajaia embeds intelligent tools directly into the workflows that matter most.

Mission: Help organizations win the AI moment.

Position Overview

Ajaia is hiring an IT Manager to serve as the technical backbone of our AI-first operations. This role is designed for a "smart and excellent" leader who can architect internal infrastructure that is as innovative as the solutions we provide to clients. You will ensure our team has the cutting-edge tools, robust security, and automated workflows required to maintain peak efficiency.

Every role at Ajaia is AI-forward. We expect candidates to use AI in daily workflows across infrastructure monitoring, security auditing, automation scripting, and technical support. AI usage is a core execution requirement, not optional tooling.

  • Security & Compliance: Implement and oversee rigorous security protocols to protect Ajaiaโ€™s proprietary AI workflows and sensitive client data.

  • Operational Excellence: Automate internal business solutions and CRM/CMS platforms to minimize manual overhead.

  • AI Native Workflows: Use AI tools daily for network ideation, rapid troubleshooting, security variant creation, and QA support.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with engineering, strategy, and growth teams to ensure technical alignment with company milestones.

  • Asset Management: Oversee the procurement and maintenance of hardware and software assets for a global, remote workforce.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: 3-7 years of experience in IT management, systems administration, or technical operations.

  • AI Mastery: Demonstrated ability to use AI-native workflows as a daily execution standard to improve speed and quality.

  • Technical Proficiency: Deep familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), automated business solutions, and security frameworks.

  • Smart & Adaptive: Proven ability to exercise high-level judgment in fast-paced, cross-functional startup environments.

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical requirements for non-technical leadership.

  • Preferred: Familiarity with AI implementation engineering or software development to better support our technical teams.

Schedule and Location

  • Location: Fully Remote

  • Candidates: Open to candidates from the Philippines, India, Pakistan, South Africa, etc.

  • Time Zone: Eastern Time, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday, including holidays. (Rotating Weekend Schedule)

Technical Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of security protocols and identity management (IAM).

  • Strong experience with automation tools and scripting (Python, Shell, etc.).

  • Ability to deliver polished, secure, and scalable technical output quickly.

  • Familiarity with design collaboration and document management tooling (Figma, Canva, Google Workspace).

Compensation and BenefitsCompensation

  • Base salary (yearly): USD 8,000 - 15,000 Annually

  • Performance bonus (yearly): 0-50% from base salary

  • Salary and total compensation depend on experience, portfolio strength, and demonstrated performance.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary + performance incentives

  • Remote work with earned flexibility

  • Professional development opportunities

  • Paid time off (PTO)

Why Join Ajaia

If you want breadth, autonomy, and a chance to define design standards in an AI-first operating environment, this role offers that scope.

At Ajaia, you have a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of the artificial intelligence frontier and contribute to real innovation that reaches production. We expect all team members to be AI-native practitioners who actively use AI in their daily workflows to improve speed, quality, and outcomes.
