Role Description

As a member of our spa team, you will work with and be a part of a close knit family that look out for each other and thrive as a team. You will help maintain a calming atmosphere for all guests on their getaway and use that same sense of calm to focus your energy to a stress-free work environment.

The Spa Assistant Manager is a key leadership position that supports the Spa Manager in the day-to-day management of all Spa Brasada operations. This includes overseeing the reception area with the ability to check guests in and out, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products, and booking all appointments. The Spa Assistant Manager will also assist the Spa Manager with operational tasks such as inventory, stocking and maintaining an exceptional level of cleanliness throughout the Spa. The ideal candidate is solution oriented and has the ability to work independently, and also loves being the go-to person for both their team members and guests.

General Responsibilities
  • Properly open and close spa each day according to Standard Operating
  • Accurately book, change, and cancel spa appointments. Ensure staffing levels are appropriate forthe day's
  • Provide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, facility features and hoursof operation.
  • Oversees all areas within the Spa including retail, locker rooms, inventory, operation supplies, andvendor management.
  • Assist Spa Manager with Team scheduling and
  • Assist Spa Manager withinventory
  • Care and general upkeep of the spa locker rooms, folding laundry, restocking
  • Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and
  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuringcomplete guest
  • Be a leader to Spa Team members and ensure high motivation, provision of high-quality serviceand ongoing
  • Maintain a clean; safe, fully stocked and well organized work
  • Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post forextended periods of
  • Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa thatrequire attention.

Skills/Traits
  • Minimum of 2 years experience customer service
  • 1-2 years of supervisoryexperience
  • Prior retail experience
  • Computer competency to include- excel, word, POS (Jonas,Booker)
  • Experience working in a Private Resort setting
