Position Overview
From the absolute moment they step through the doors of The Spa at Hutton Hotel, our guests' journey begins. As a Spa Attendant/Host, you are the curator of this journey, transforming a simple visit into an immersive, seamless escape. Your role is the heartbeat of our daily operations-keeping the flow of the spa moving effortlessly all day, maintaining an immaculate environment, and supporting our therapists so that every touchpoint of the guest experience is flawless, peaceful, and deeply restorative.
Key Responsibilities
  • The Guest Journey: Welcome guests warmly the instant they cross our threshold, establishing an immediate sense of sanctuary. Guide them step-by-step through their experience, ensuring they feel welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease from arrival to departure.
  • Continuous Cleaning & Restocking: Maintain a pristine, luxury aesthetic across all areas. Continuously gather used linens, sanitize high-touch surfaces, restock dispensary, refreshment stations and bathrooms.
  • Keeping the Spa Flowing: Act as the ultimate host of the spa. Keep appointments moving on time, greet and engage guests, when necessary, Educate guests on amenities, manage guest transitions smoothly, and ensure there is never a bottleneck in the treatment rooms or common spaces.
  • Wellness & Recovery Area Operations: Manage and operate specialized equipment across our relaxation, wellness, and recovery rooms (such as dry saunas, salt room , compression gear, or specialized tubs). Monitor temperature settings, cleanliness, and safety protocols for all active therapy elements.
  • Therapist Support: Collaborate closely with the service team. Assist therapists when needed between guests by clearing used linens, and prepping fresh setups so they can focus entirely on delivering exceptional care.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience: Prior experience in high-end hospitality, luxury spas, salons, or fitness/wellness clubs is highly valued.
  • Operational Flow: Strong multitasking skills with the ability to anticipate needs and keep a busy environment running smoothly and quietly.
  • Technical Comfort: Ability to learn and operate wellness and recovery equipment safely.
  • Physical Stamina: Comfort being on your feet, moving actively, and lifting up to 25 lbs (for linens and restocking).
  • Availability: Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays, to support peak guest hours.
