Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a dedicated Regional Account Manager to drive sales growth and strengthen distributor partnerships throughout the assigned territory. This remote role is responsible for executing regional sales strategies, developing distributor capabilities, driving end-user demand, and serving as a key connection between customers, distributors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can build relationships, identify opportunities, and deliver results in a highly collaborative environment.

Territory sales objectives are consistently achieved; distributor partners are well-equipped, engaged, and effective; end-users and fleets recognize Tommy Gate as a trusted partner; and internal teams view this role as a reliable link between the field and the business.

What You'll Be Doing Territory & Account Management
  • Develop and execute territory plans that support regional sales growth and company objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, fleets, installers, and key end-users.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales, expand market share, and strengthen customer engagement within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct distributor visits, sales meetings, and product training sessions.
  • Support distributor open houses, customer events, trade shows, and other industry activities.
  • Partner with distributors to improve product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and customer support capabilities.
Sales & Business Support
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop annual business plans and sales strategies.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Tommy Gate products, applications, and industry trends.
  • Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights that support business decision-making and product development.
Territory Administration
  • Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and sales activity records within the company's CRM system.
  • Manage travel, expense reporting, and administrative responsibilities in accordance with company policies.
  • Participate in company meetings, training opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Other Duties
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Experience and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Previous outside sales or account management experience required.
  • Experience working with distributor networks, commercial vehicle equipment, manufacturing, transportation, or related industries preferred.
  • Order Processing Systems
  • MS 365 Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • CRM Software
