FCM - the large market, global corporate travel division of the Flight Centre Travel Group is looking for unique Corporate Travel Consultant.

About the Opportunity: FCM Corporate Travel Consultant - Accommodation

In this role you will manage emergency accommodation bookings for a national insurance company. You'll be someone who loves to connect with customers and can show compassion and empathy in times of need.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year travel consulting experience, however this could also be an opportunity for the right candidate to step into Corporate Travel without a travel background and build up their experience. Our ideal candidate will understand what excellent service means for customers, and be business and travel industry oriented. You'll like working in a team environment, but also comfortable working autonomously. You're someone who enjoys being part of a company with a serious focus on keeping employees happy, productive and supported.

All About You:

  • Strong verbal and written communication with an ability to listen carefully, demonstrate empathy and deliver clear options
  • Experience in a customer service role
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems
  • Strong time management skills and professionalism
  • Multitasking and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines and customer expectations in a fast paced environment
  • High attention to detail
  • A 'can do' attitude
     

Experience desirable, but not essential:

  • Leisure or Corporate Travel Management
  • Global Distribution System (GDS) - Sabre would be highly regarded!

 

What You'll Enjoy:

 1st Year OTE $80,000 (comprising $55,000 base + uncapped monthly incentive) + super

 Training wage guarantee of $75,000pa + super for your first 6 months
