The Position
Assist Line of Business (LoB) with Coupa information, training & compliance. Assist with compliance of procurement for manufacturing (PfM) process, supplier issues & expansion/maintenance of site vendor managed inventory (VMI) program.
Relationships
Reports to Manager or Director.
Essential Functions
  • Ability to adjust content in Coupa as needed and assists LoB with tactical sourcing events
  • Timely Coupa purchase order administration for complex IT goods & services
  • Ensure purchasing process is compliant with corporate & local guidelines
  • Track & manage all department related SLAs & vendor contracts & agreements
  • Resolves IT pricing, quality & delivery issues with responsible orders
  • Assist with expansion & maintenance of VMI program across NNPILP sites
  • Assist with the qualification of suppliers & help address supplier issues with cost, delivery, or quality
  • Backup local sourcing responsible for (PfM) process, assists LoB in identifying PfM requirements, reviews data for compliance, can address LoB's questions regarding usage and performs controls to monitor PfM training needs & spend compliance
  • Maintain & develop department procedures according to cGMPs
  • Develop & maintain internal & external stakeholder relationships
  • Coordinate/responsible for sourcing activities with DK for assigned commodities
  • Represent NNPILP on global & local project teams for changes that affect business needs relating to sourcing activities
  • Recommend changes to existing workflow & processes to ensure efficient & compliant operations
  • Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role.)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business, or a relevant field of study from an accredited university required
  • May consider Associates Degree in Logistics, Business, or a relevant field of study from an accredited university with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in planning/purchasing in a manufacturing environment or related field required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in planning/purchasing in a manufacturing environment or related field required
  • Coupa background in Purchasing, Sourcing & Contract modules preferred
  • Proficient in basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office, to include ability to export & analyze spend data to find trends for cost savings required
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills preferred
  • Proven process improvement skills/ability lead departmental process improvement projects preferred
  • Knowledgeable about purchasing procedures preferred
  • Problem solving skills preferred
  • Good presentation skills preferred
  • Ability to self-prioritize & organize work based on priorities expressed by cross functional teams required
  • Ability to execute standard work routinely & effectively required
