Fire Sprinkler Designer - Youngstown, OH - JOB 26-00495 Pay Range: $18.00 - $28.00/HR Full-timePermanent Position with Benefits Engineering design company in Youngstown, Ohio specializing in fire protection systems design, fabrication & installation is seeking to hire a talented 3D CAD Designer for Fire Suppression / Sprinkler Systems Design REQUIREMENTS Associates Degree or Technical College Certificate is desired Level I, II or III NICET certified is a big plus 3+ years' experience preferred, willing to consider entry level Must have industry experience or a very closely related field doing layout of automatic sprinkler systems, plumbing, pipe supports and other various related tasks for fire protection system design. MS Office (word, excel, outlook) & general PC skills & willing to learn 3D / 3-D MEP software 3D CAD design skills with piping / plumbing layout for fire suppression systems All levels of designers encouraged to apply. Excellent opportunity for growth. Will start off working with an associate by going in to the field, interacting with client contact, asses the facility and take notes about the job, return to work to complete design layout of fire protection system. After initial training period, person must be able to work alone, make sound decisions and manage their time accordingly. Candidates must have a good driving record.
