Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Assist in the management of video board and audio production for Texas Health Mansfield Stadium Events (NTSC, Concerts, High School Football, Rugby, Soccer, etc).
  • Assist with technical operation, maintenance, and repair of Control Room equipment including, but not limited to, broadcast cameras, intercoms, routing systems, replay systems, production switcher, and stadium audio system.
  • Film and edit videos for REV Events.
  • Create graphics for scoreboards for REV Events.
  • Run Video Boards and game clocks for Texas Health Mansfield Stadium Events.
  • Produce various media elements for REV Events.
  • Prepare scripts and program logs for all REV Events.
  • Oversee the production and programming of in-house TV system for Texas Health Mansfield Stadium Events.
  • Assist with the maintenance, repair, troubleshoot all building LED signage (scoreboards, fascia boards, auxiliary boards).
  • Provide tech support for all software and hardware related computer and hardware issues that could arise in the production or execution of an event.
  • Handle on-site coordination between production load in and load outs for specified events.
  • Receive supervision and direction from the Director of Operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's in Media Production, Video/ Audio Engineering, Communications or equivalent
  • 2 years experience working in fast paced live event productions and entertainment preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Microsoft Office, and other related software preferred
  • Prior experience in an arena, stadium, convention center, or like venue is recommended but not required.
  • Required to work all Texas Health Mansfield Stadium Events, which may include nights, weekends, and Holidays.
  • Strong knowledge of Daktronics scoring systems and Daktronics show control systems
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven team environment
  • Strong technical, organizational, managerial, and communication skills
  • Must be eager, creative, a strong team player, and a problem solver
  • Must have experience using Avid and Adobe Premiere editing systems, Chyron and Ross Expression CG machines, Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and After Effects, various HD setups and codecs, various media work-flows, including tape based and tapeless
  • Must have an understanding of compression codecs, including Quick time, Windows Media, and Flash video
  • Need working knowledge on using a video switcher (Sony, Ross), replay systems (EVS), file based playback devices, and broadcast camera operation (Sony)

  • Move about the facility; stand or remain in a stationary position for extended periods
  • This position may require work inside or outside of a building, in all types of weather conditions, as needed by events.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills; able to meet definitive timeline goals.
  • Effective team player mentality; must be able to adapt to changes and work in a multi-client environment.
  • Traverse uneven, slippery, or hard surfaces; transport, position, or move up to 25 pounds
