$112,600.00 - $169,000.00
Purpose Statement: This position is focused on driving improvements for procurement of materials and services. Deliverables range from streamlining the overall supply base, managing material cost through negotiated strategic buying agreements and PPV metrics, analyzing supply chain data, optimizing operational processes, managing supplier KPIs, supplier performance management, inventory/working capital optimization, freight cost optimization and streamlining procurement administration costs through implementation of lean principles and tools.
Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and Material Team Managers to implement solutions that optimize return and maximize customer service levels.
  • Work with Supply Chain Solutions and regional supply chain teams to design supply chain strategies, focusing on optimizing inventory levels, reducing lead time, and minimizing forecast variability.
  • Provide strategic direction and training in the Material Team Manager center of excellence, and offer reactive support to sites to resolve constraints.
  • Develop new strategies to minimize supply chain risk and serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the utilization of Plexus Supply Chain Risk Management tools.
  • Partner with Commodity Sourcing and Global SCSM team to develop key supplier relationships, monitor supply chain risk management tools, and identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.

Education/Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 8 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
