Description:Member Solutions Specialist

Ripco Credit Union - Rhinelander Branch

We're looking for a professional solution and detail-oriented Member Solutions Specialist to join our Lending team and help members navigate financial challenges while protecting the credit union's assets.

Seeking a solution-oriented professional who is looking to excel in a welcoming environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, and helping members find solutions to bring their accounts back to good standing.

As a Member Solutions Specialist, you will manage delinquent loan accounts and work directly with members to identify repayment solutions while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

This position is Full-Time and at the Rhinelander Branch.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an assigned collection portfolio and prioritize daily collection activities.
  • Contact members regarding delinquent accounts through phone, text, email, and mail correspondence.
  • Work with members to develop effective repayment solutions and restore accounts to current status.
  • Notify co-signers regarding delinquent account status when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of collection activities and account status.
  • Perform skip tracing and maintain records related to repossessions, bankruptcies, foreclosures, and charge-offs.
  • Determine when to recommend account settlements, repossessions, or foreclosure actions.
  • Coordinate and oversee collateral repossession processes.
  • File claims, attend hearings, and work with trustees on bankruptcy proceedings.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, as well as credit union policies and procedures.
  • Travel to other branch locations as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist with other duties as assigned.
