Job description

Overview

Cherre is now a RealPage company, expanding our ability to deliver innovative data and technology solutions that transform the real estate industry. Join us as we build what’s next together.

Cherre is the leading real estate data management and analytics platform. We connect, resolve, and organize the fragmented data real estate organizations rely on: internal systems, public records, and third-party providers, into a single, connected source of truth. Institutional investors, asset managers, and brokers use Cherre to power underwriting, portfolio management, and reporting on data they can trust.

Our work sits at the intersection of real estate domain knowledge and modern data infrastructure, and this role is central to how we translate that platform into value for our most strategic clients.

Responsibilities

We\'re looking for a Senior Director of Solutions Architecture to lead the domain-first solutions engine of our sales and delivery motion. You\'ll own the presales function end to end, from first discovery call through handoff into delivery. You\'ll manage and grow a team of Solution Architects and Business Analysts, and you\'ll set the vision for how we scope, demonstrate, and win.

This role rests first on deep real assets domain expertise, complemented by technical acumen and a strong market-facing presence. You\'ll be credible discussing property operations and investment strategy with a client\'s leadership, guiding the solution alongside their data and engineering teams, and representing Cherre in front of a prospect\'s decision-makers. Domain fluency is the foundation; the ideal candidate pairs it with enough technical depth and executive presence to carry a solution from discovery through the deal.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You\'ll be in the room for our most strategic deals, shaping how we translate complex prospect requirements into compelling, credible solutions. Just as important, you\'ll be expected to modernize how the function operates. We want a leader who builds tools and AI-assisted workflows that make the team faster and sharper, not one who simply runs the existing playbook.

  • Lead the domain engine. Understand each client’s business deeply and align solutions to achieve their objectives.
  • Lead the presales function. Own the full presales lifecycle and partner closely with Sales to drive technical wins on strategic and enterprise opportunities.
  • Manage and develop the team. Hire, coach, and grow a team of Solution Architects and Business Analysts. Set standards, build expertise, balance workloads across active deals, and foster a culture of technical rigor.
  • Drive scoping and discovery. Personally lead scoping and discovery for strategic prospects, uncovering requirements, identifying risks, and defining solutions that map to real business outcomes.
  • Own the RFP process. Run the RFP response process end to end, ensuring responses are accurate, differentiated, and delivered on time.
  • Ensure clean handoffs to Delivery. Build and maintain a repeatable bridge from presales scoping into implementation so nothing is lost between the sale and the build.
  • Modernize the function with AI. Design and build skills and agentic workflows, and optimize the agentic fleet to streamline the process from scoping through delivery. Continuously identify ways to use AI to improve the quality and speed of the team’s output.
  • Represent the point of view. Publish, speak, and advocate for Cherre’s perspective on real assets data and semantic infrastructure, shaping how the market thinks about the problem—not just how Cherre solves it.
  • Close the loop into Product. Translate market and client signals from the field into product roadmap input, ensuring the roadmap reflects what the market is actually telling you—not just what has already been scoped.
Qualifications
  • Real assets domain expertise spanning the full stack: up into the capital stack (fund structures, debt and equity vehicles, investment vehicles) and down into the physical, operational asset (property operations, leasing, maintenance, tenant and resident experience). A track record of scoping and designing solutions that hold together across both ends of that stack, not just one.
  • Global and cross-asset-class experience: comfortable moving between multifamily, office, industrial, retail, and alternative asset classes, and across US, European, and APAC market conventions and regulatory contexts.
  • 10+ years in real estate, proptech, or consulting, with experience leading teams of domain and technical experts.
  • Technical fluency across entity resolution, graph-based data models, and semantic layer architecture, sufficient to guide solution and demo design and engage credibly with a client\'s data and engineering teams on how identity, confidence, and lineage actually work under the platform, not just what the platform outputs.
  • Fluent in the shift from human-readable reporting to typed, governed interfaces built for agent consumption: why a report could tolerate semantic drift that an agent reasoning from the same data cannot, and why that difference is now a product architecture problem, not a documentation problem.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership: a track record of publishing or speaking on real assets, data, or investment strategy, not just executing someone else\'s narrative.
  • Executive presence to represent Cherre externally, lead the room in strategic deals, and translate technical complexity into business value for institutional buyers.
  • The ability to operate as both a player and a coach: both getting hands-on in deals, and effective at hiring, developing, and leading a high-performing team behind you.
  • An AI-forward mindset, with hands-on experience building tools, automations, or agentic workflows.

Nice to have experience with:

  • AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT
  • Building AI agents and agentic workflows
  • Interacting with Github
  • Experience with knowledge management tools such as Obsidian
Pay RangeUSD $190,000.00 - USD $235,000.00 /Yr.
